Fan dumb

I was browsing my livejournal and I read a post about fan dumb as opposed to fandom and it really... opened my eyes to some of my own behavior. I'm often oblivious to the obvious and the obvious I've been missing for the past oh maybe... 8 years of being a part of one online fandom or another is that I've been using them to boost my self esteem. Ouch. The end. Freedom.
